Veggie Fries is a newly launched item you’ll find in the frozen food section of supermarkets.
Established in 2013 and founded by Boston-based Dave and Cristina Peters, Veggie Fries are crafted with U.S. grown potatoes and a “sophisticated” blend of select farm-grown vegetables and beans.
According to the company, each variety, Carrot, Broccoli, Chickpea & Red Pepper and Tuscan Bean & Herb, contains 25 percent of non-potato vegetables and beans for a substantial amount of extra vegetable nutrition in servings. Every ingredient is all-natural, non-GMO and contains no gluten or wheat
Veggie Fries are currently available in Whole Foods, Big Y and Roche Bros. stores.
